You can either apply at FACTS TRANSCRIPTS AND VERIFICATION INC - Document Collection Centre, or send the documents to us via courier.
In case of applying in person or through a representative at our Collection Centre, please refer to the procedure below:
Step 1
All original documents requiring attestation or apostille should be first attested by the designated agencies in the state from where the document has been issued. In case of personal documents, Home Department / General Administration Department of the document issuing state are the designated authorities. In case of educational documents, the documents should first be authenticated by the Education Department of the concerned State Government/Union Territory.
In case the documents are not attested by the relevant state authorities then the applicant may submit their documents for state attestation at FACTS OFFICE Document Collection Centre for MEA attestation/apostille.
Step 2
Submit the documents at FACTS Document Collection Centre for MEA attestation / Apostille
Step 3
Collect documents from FACTS Document Collection Centre upon attestation / apostille by the MEA
What to carry to FACTS Document Collection Centre:
All original documents that need to be attested / apostilled
Photocopy of all documents that need to be attested / apostilled
Photocopy of the passport of the applicant
In case of Police Clearance Certificate, please carry the original passport
